Description
This 1-page activity asks students to think of a mythology-related term for each letter of the alphabet. You decide whether it is a single word, a phrase, an image or a mix of different types. If you are teaching in a western context, undoubtedly many of their responses will relate to Greek mythology (or perhaps Marvel!), but the invitation is there for other cultures to bring in their knowledge.
Short on funds? You are welcome to ‘steal’ the idea and create your own, but I can guarantee this resource will save you time fiddling about with Google Slides. I am keeping the price low because I’d rather see teachers creating culturally-sustaining classrooms than falling back on the status quo. Purchasing this time-saver allows me to continue sharing advice and free resources through Diversity in Mind.
