This lesson is print-and-go so would be perfect for a teacher-in-a-hurry or a cover lesson as all student instructions are included. Alternatively, it can be extended to a survival scenario where individuals, pairs, or teams have to plead their case to be allowed entry into a zombie-free safe zone. Choose to focus on public writing and/or speaking skills with this zombie-themed task. These materials set up a scenario where students’ survival depends on how well they can present their arguments. I recommend introducing it as a speaking task, as this wills support learners in their writing.
