Description
Get students learning vocabulary effortlessly with this ever-engaging game that can be used again and again. This fun resource encourages students to listen, think and pronounce carefully. It can be competitive or collaborative depending on the profile of your class. If you’re not familiar with the concept of ‘I Have…Who Has?, take a look on Youtube to find an appropriate video you can share with your students – there are many!
Looking for resources to support your mainstream and EAL learners in their study of the Middle Ages? Look no further! These materials have been tried and tested with (very) mixed-ability classes with great success. You can use the activities as alternative tasks in the mainstream classroom, or use as-is in the sheltered EAL classroom. They work brilliantly with all levels of learners as they collaborate (and sometimes compete) to succeed!
I searched far and wide for medieval themed materials I could use that weren’t ‘cutesy’ as I teach middle schoolers. As such, the images and fonts are more suited to tweens / teens, though there’s no reason they wouldn’t appeal to younger learners – they got approval from my 9-year-old too!
Included in the pack:
- 36 unique vocabulary terms
- A blank template for additional personalisation or student-created additions
- EXTENSIVE TEACHING NOTES explaining how to use all the materials in multiple ways
- LINKS to additional (mostly) free resources
- My ongoing support!
Further resources on this topic are available from the Medieval / Middle Ages section of my store. If you prefer a collection of activities for language learners on the topic of the Middle Ages, check out this pack.
