Develop MINDSET – Human v Zombie Brains: A Comparison Activity

This well-scaffolded and fun activity can be used in many ways:

ツ as a standalone activity to generate discussion

ツ with the resource ‘Mindset & Intelligence’ from my store

ツ as part of my Zombie Apocalypse unit

ツ as a way in to discussing learning and intelligence.

It is a simple activity where students sort statements (provided) relating to brains into a Venn diagram. The aim is to get students thinking about what their brains are capable of and to increase their awareness. In not using the full potential of their brain, they are not maximizing their learning opportunities, so this resource makes clear what they can do to really use their grey matter. This can be done individually but provides prompting for rich discussion if used in pairs or small group settings.
