Description
This presentation guides students (and you) through a variety of different ways to approach found poems, including blackout poetry.
HOW IS THIS CULTURALLY-SUSTAINING OR CULTURALLY-RESPONSIVE?
Read my blog post here.
WHO IS THIS FOR?
All students! I am used to teaching mixed-ability classes with EAL students and all my students can rise to this challenge, from those who are below to those who are above grade level. This resource would be fine for upper elementary, but best for secondary students. Differentiation is best done through the text selections you make.
