Description
Stoke your students’ natural curiosity with this collection of bizarre photos. Maybe they’re doctored, maybe they’re not, but for sure they will get your students chuckling and discussion the scenarios. Either print-and-go or simply display the photos to get their creative and critical cogs whirring.
Try any of these!
- Have students describe the scene using all their senses.
- Imagine the dialogue between the people or creatures in the scene.
- Write the backstory.
- What happens next?
- How many objects can you name in the picture (younger learners / ESL)?
Use for station work, bellringers, a sub lesson, or however you choose.
Remember to come back and leave a review. I’d love to see what your students produce. Email submissions to abena@diversityinmind.com and I’ll give your students a shout out on my blog!
